MOUNDRIDGE – First District Congressman Dr. Roger Marshall took a tour of The Bradbury Company Friday, Oct. 6, as part of Manufacturing Day activities.

“One of the very unique things about Bradbury, you’re not bringing in all of your components,” Marshall said. “You’re making manufacturing equipment here.”

Bradbury workers are designing and building roll-forming equipment for their customers worldwide.

Marshall spent the day meeting with industry leaders representing manufacturing companies in the First District. Discussions focused on regulations, tax reform and workforce development.

The congressman started the day with a roundtable discussion at Hutchinson Community College with manufacturing chief executive officers. He also toured Superior Boiler Works in Hutchinson.
