‘Big Talk’ Takes Look At Threat Of Gun Violence

MOUNDRIDGE – Almost 60 area residents took place in the Moundridge Public Library’s “Big Talk” about the threat of gun violence in the community.

The library hosted the First Annual Interfaith Big Talk on Monday, May 14, at the Pine Village Wellness Center.

Library Director Jill Stern asked for representatives from local churches to serve on a panel to lead the conversation.

Panelists were Pastors Derek King and Brad Roth, with Eden Mennonite and West Zion Mennonite churches, respectively; and Hesston Police Chief Doug Schroeder was the Grace Crossing Church representative.
