The Inman Arts Council and Inman Junior/Senior High School are bringing a new kind of film festival to the community on Saturday, April 14 at the IHS Auditorium with film premieres beginning at 6:30 p.m..

Inman audio visual teacher Kim Baldwin said students have been working on short films for three weeks. A handful of the films were submitted to the Kansas Student Technology Leaders (KSTL) competition in Manhattan while others are independent submissions from students outside the audio-visual class.

“Some of these videos are highly dramatic, and others are documentary-style,” said Baldwin.

One of the films, Baldwin said, is a documentary of interviews with three Inman educators who have been with the district for 25-years or more.

Diane Miller, Inman Arts Council Director, said the event will be an opportunity for residents to see students‘ creations, as well as see Farm Kids “The Ghost Of Inman High” for the first time since it was originally screened in 2003.
