John G. Stucky, 71

MOUNDRIDGE - John G. Stucky, born July 16, 1945, left this earthly world Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Hospice House, in Hutchinson.

Born in Newton, to Myron G. and Dorothy Stucky, he lived in Moundridge almost his entire life.

He is survived by his wife, Edna; and two children, Brandon and Krystal.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 24, at First Mennonite Church of Christian, in Moundridge.

Memorials may be made to the Cancer Center of Kansas, First Mennonite Church, or to the John Stucky Memorial Fund, all in care of Moundridge Funeral Home.

Denton P. Rempel, 69

MOUNDRIDGE – Denton P. Rempel, 69, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Moundridge Manor in Moundridge.

He was born Feb. 28, 1948, to Peter and Erna (Goossen) Rempel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Rempel of Moundridge; sons, Patrick (Tamlyn) Rempel of Grand View, Idaho, Douglas (Stephanie) Rempel, of Galva; daughters, Teresa (Todd) Koehn and Melissa (Greg) Becker, all of Grand View, Idaho; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Allan (Alice) Rempel and Merrill (Deeny) Rempel, all of Galva, Delbert (Jolene) Rempel, of Rosenort, Manitoba; and sisters, Doris (Roland) Penner and Margaret (David) Penner, all of St. Mary’s, Ontario, and Lorraine Rempel and Carol Lynne Rempel, both of Rosenort, Manitoba.

Funeral service was Saturday, June 17, at Gospel Mennonite Church, in Moundridge. Burial followed at the Lone Tree Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Moundridge Manor, in care of Moundridge Funeral Home.

Doris Rogers Loganbill, 87

MOUNDRIDGE - Doris Rogers Loganbill, 87, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Pine Village, in Moundridge.

She was born July 29, 1929, and was wife to Willis; compassionate mother and grandmother.

Survivors include three children, Sheri (Jim) Miller, Kevin (Shelly), Robert (Deanne); seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., with family present 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 22, at Moundridge Funeral Home. A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m., Friday, June 23, at West Zion Mennonite Church, in Moundridge.

Memorial gifts may be given in her name to Moundridge City Library, in care of Moundridge Funeral Home.
